of State College, P.C., and renamed Centre Medical and Surgical Associates,
P.C. 8/1/1999. See history.

CMSA employs top-notch physicians
committed to providing high-quality patient care using state-of-the-art
technology and diagnostic services. Please see specialty

We offer a wide-range of
diagnostic services including laboratory, radiology, pulmonary function
testing, nerve conduction studies, EMG testing, echocardiography, stress
testing, chemotherapy, allergy testing and treatment, bone densitometry,
and nuclear cardiology.

hours?
We are open Monday through
Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, except Pediatrics which opens at 8:00
am.
How does
call coverage work?
Most physicians
share call coverage with the ratio varying between departments. Doctors
also round on their own patients.

CMSA is located in State
College, Pennsylvania, which has been honored as one of the top small
cities in the United States and as a superb retirement community.
Penn State University is an integral part of the community, sharing
its vast cultural and recreational resources and providing employment
to area residents.
Centre
County, Pennsylvania, population 140,000, is situated at the geographical
center of the state within the splendor of the Appalachian Mountains.
Our countryside is blanketed by well-groomed farmland and offers a sweeping
panorama of rolling hills and lush valleys. The area enjoys a world-class
education system, abundant recreational opportunities, and an excellent
quality of life.
The economic climate in

Education
The
Pennsylvania State University is one of America’s largest
and most distinguished
universities. Since the 1930s, Penn State has been Pennsylvania’s
largest source of undergraduate degrees.

Recreation
Centre County is nationally

of large and small game on thousands of acres of state game land.

Pennsylvania State University offers sporting events at a national
level as well as opportunities to participate in swimming, indoor tennis,
racquetball, track, volleyball,
and ice skating.
Stone
Valley Recreation Area, located in the scenic woodlands of central
Pennsylvania, is a 700-acre park featuring rustic facilities in a natural
setting. It offers fishing, boat rentals, sailing lessons, rental facilities,
picnic areas, and day camps.
Shaver’s
Creek Environmental Center provides a variety of educational and
recreational
opportunities. Visitors explore discovery rooms, tour the raptor center,
take advantage of the network of trails, and visit the natural history
bookstore and gift shop.
