George M. McCormick, M.D.

Undergraduate: The Pennsylvania State University, B.S. degree in Pre-Medicine Cum Laude

Medical School: University of Pennsylvania Medical School, Philadelphia, PA

Residency: University of Colorado Medical Center, Denver, CO

Board certification: Pediatrics

Professional Membership: Fellow, the American Academy of Pediatrics, Director of the Nursery at Mount Nittany Medical Center, and Chairman of the Patient Care Evaluation Committee at Mount Nittany Medical Center. He also serves on the Multi-disciplinary Team of Children and Youth Services.

Military Service: He spent 3 years in the navy, first in Guam and later at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Annapolis, MD.

Experience: In 1976 Dr. McCormick started a solo practice in State College. Over the years the practice grew, and in 1997 it merged with CMSA.

Family: Dr. McCormick is married and has five daughters.
