Hematology / Oncology

Patient age: 18 years and older

Hematology is the study and treatment of blood diseases and blood-forming tissues. Dr Ford, assisted by Victoria Case, treat anemias, bleeding and clotting disorders, lukemias, and lymphomas - with methods that may range from medication, to blood transfusion, to referral for bone marrow transplant.

Medical oncology treats tumors and other abnormal tissue growth. Care may involve chemotherapy, infusion pumps, biological agents, or immunotherapy. Chemotherapy is performed on site in our main office, supervised by a senior nurse certified by the Oncology Nursing Society.
