Internal Medicine - Primary Care of Adults

Patient age: 16 years and older

Drs. Hester, Pasquariello, Pro, and Shannon

It's important to understand that primary care is available to patients both at our State College and Bellefonte locations. "Internal Medicine" means primary medical care for adults, generally over the age of 16. Your primary care physician is the doctor you see regularly for health maintenance examinations and health screening tests, and who treats your routine illnesses such as a sore throat, upset stomach, or the flu. He or she also treats chronic conditions which do not require the services of a specialist, refers you to a specialist when necessary, and manages your overall medical care.
